All change on the daily drives front. I’d swapped the F150 Raptor for a new Ranger Raptor. However, after a year I decided it just wasn’t me. I thought I’d appreciate it being smaller, but it wasn’t enough, so I decided to go back to a Raptor again. I looked at the ’37 model with the larger wheels and even the new V8. If I’m being honest the V6 wasn’t cutting it for me in the Ranger, so I’d prefer the V8, but then couldn’t justify the price. I have to say I was also a little disappointed by the interior, the spec if great, but the trim on the Ranger and even the V8 F150 Raptor was a bit plastic.

I told a test in a Ram TRX and was sold. 702hp V8 and a supercharger help, but it was also a nicer place to be. A quick shop around and I traded the Ranger in for a ’22, shadow grey TRX with just 11k km on the clocks – about the same as the Ranger had.

It’s an awesome car.
