Beetle – beating heart.

The boys have fully stripped and rebuilt the engine – a couple of sticking valves reset, a rusted pot meant we replaced them all, and then a careful rebuild to tolerances. The vintage speed exhaust is apparently not the best for EFI, but it looks great so we’ll perservere.

New air filters replacing the sealed turbo ones. A oil breather tank has been ordered as has a return fuel line. The J tubes have arrived since the feature image and we are just waiting on a fuel pump and lambda controller, also ordered, and then I need to sort the hoses and fitting, again should all be done this week, ready for fitting next.
